Stars $107 90 man Triple or Nothing

Anyone played these? I would assume that these would be similar to satellites. Top 30 get $300. what would be the optimal way to play these?

Thanks massimo. Survival is the key. I'm sure that these will probably be pretty profitable for a while until they fill up with decent players or until they add lower buy-ins.

Everything that I'm ready regarding super satellites, which is what these are like, say to see flops and try to double-up early. So if they payout 1/3 of the field, does that mean that I would need to try and acquire around 4500 (1500*3) chips to be somewhat safe of making the money?

terrible terrible advice

You should be tighter than normal in almost 100% of situations unless you have fold equity AND the only other players in the pot are all good players who are aware of the fact that they need to play super tight, in that case you should steal the pot often. I don't agree with Max at all about playing aggro late because most satty players are just plain terrible and will make bad calls that hurt both of your EV.
