We're either way ahead of his busted flush draw, or we're way behind AQ or QJ. As played I lean towards c/cing river, possibly c/f depending on bet size.

Im no poker expert, but I would bet for a reasonable amount (2500 or something like that). If he raises (which he did not until the river), I would fold or call (depending on the raise).
I think he had a drawing hand...but its a tricky situation there. If you check to him its easier for him to bluff, since HE will choose the value of his bet. I would check raise only if I am sure to have the Best hand (and obviously, if Im sure the guy will bet).
He could just call preflop with a monster (very deceiving). Also, I dont think he would raise you with AQ, which would also beat you.
Other very deceiving hand is when you flop a set...but in this case I think he would reraise you.
My guess...he has a nut flush draw (AK, AQ or AJ). With AQ he would call you.

I usually fold preflop. Torn on checking or betting the turn. River is pretty ugly; there's not much we beat other than flush draw and some of those are combo draws with a T.

theres really nothing you beat anymore besides a busted flush draw...and even some of those hands now have a straight. check/fold
