    Default JJ in 4b pot

I was HU with villain a few hands ago, starting a new table
I 3b him once and he folded
I raised my button a few times and he folded
this is the first time he 3b me, and I was going to get it in PF, but he decided to flat.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (3 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($100)
    Hero (Button) ($104.55)
    SB ($94)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, J
Hero bets $3, SB raises to $8, 1 fold, Hero raises to $20, SB calls $12

    Flop: ($41) 2, Q, 2 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero?

    A few plans of action:
check behind and fold turn - if he plays his hand straightforwardly and checks TT/AT down (or if his 4b calling range is KQ/AQ type of hands this is the best plan of action)
check behind and call turn, fold river - if he bluffs small on the turn and shuts down on the river
time down, bet small and call a shove - if he thinks I'm full of shit and would do that with almost any hand
shove flop - if he calls with underpairs

I don't understand why you're plan all of a sudden changes from "Yesss get JJ all in pre"... to "omg I'm beat" just cause he flatted OOP and it's a Q high flop. People's flatting range here isn't necessarily that strong at all.

I think this feels like a check back, call a lot of reasonable turns and re-eval rivers kinda spots.

Because I see people flat hands like AQ/AJ and since I have JJ there's more comboes of AQ
really I would expect AK to just shove pf, and I don't think the guy would 3b AT
if he 3b KQ and calls a 4b, then I'm in semi-owned too...
I would have prefered a king on the flop actually because his range has more queens than kings because AK is discounted preflop

Depends on how bad villain is villain can have anything from 55 to A8 or whatever he feels like playing. But yeah definitely check it back, call every turn and possibly the river.

I agree. People bad enough to flat AQ here are flatting AK too. I think checking back the flop and calling reasonable turns or rivers is the line. I think you only get one street of value from lower PPs and given his straight forward nature in the previous hands he'll let you know where you stand.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
