    Default TT at a micro

    20 big bets-ish

Villain is 20/2/46 with a tiny aggro frequency. Like .06 He also has only 3-bet once.

I just figgured that I was against premiums, or flipping here...

How big is your sample size there? I think it's pretty dangerous to read too much into someone who you only have like 40-50 hands on sometimes. I've folded good hands a lot of times because someone who raises like 8% comes in for 4xBB and then he flips over A7s.

My default would be to call here but if this is a guy who's been very passive and is playing his cards pretty much faceup, folding is OK.

Yeah I think this is a situation where you made a really bad fold because you relied too heavily on your HUD.

I agree that 46 hands is not a big sample.

Also agg factor means nothing when we are dealing solely with preflop action.

The thing with this hand is that many players will be around a 20/2 over the first 45ish hands especially on stars - but the way stars' structure works is that you end up getting a shitton of openshove or reshove stacks once the second hour starts so oftentimes the first hour stats can go out the window.

My default is to call here - but this is never a fistpump call. It is a sigh and call.

I have two ways to look at this. If you had a big stack M>20 I would fold assuming I was probably at best in a coin flip situation and that better situations would present before the blinds were an issue. However in this case M around 10, in the $2.20 the blinds come so quick you may not get a better situation so I would reluctantly call.

Any advocates for shoving pre here? I'd probably be shoving pre here.

I thought in online tournaments M meant much less than the number of big bets you had for a number of reasons, most important of which being that the blinds increase way too fast for M to be a good determiner of hand strength.

Because M is functionally dependant upon longer rounds in order for a good number of hands to have passed...

If you put it in an M paradigm this is a pretty clear call. I had just read a few articles suggesting I should shift my thought process here which is why I thought it was closer than that.

i'd expect to see AK AQ here alot. maybe not from this guy.... but a smaller PP alot too.
guys he's just looking to complain about taking coolers/beats

he'll continue to be the type of poker player we all love, the one that isn't any good but thinks he is, and slowly donates to the regulars.

You should not be raise/folding with your stack size. Its very close but < 20xbb is a good cutoff point. Someone suggested shoving which is not a bad idea since TT doesn't play so great post flop if you just raise and happen to get called which will happen a lot more often at micro stakes where players are loose/passive. Although without antes shoving might not be the best idea I still think it has some merit at these stakes and people will definitely call you with worse often enough.
