Hi guys,

One of my concerns in late SGs is Blind Stealing. However, the success of this play depends strongly on the type of players on your left (SB and BB assuming you are the button) and eventual limpers. To be honest, I often am very reluctant to try that in some cases, so I wonder what is your range of hands for blind stealing in these situations (in all 3 you are the button and you have 1 limper. Assume that the SB, BB, limper and you have almost equivalent stacks, M=10. The limper is the cut-off):

1) The BB is a loose aggressive player who raises quite often. The SB and the limper are passive players.
2) The SB and BB are tight aggressive players. They’ll raise you with good hands. The limper is loose and passive.
3) The SB and BB are loose passive players and you saw the limper limping in twice with speculative hands (suited connectors and small pairs). He is a solid player who likes to vary his game.
4) Assuming that everybody folded (no limper), the SB is tight and BB is loose passive?

The question is: what is your range of hands for blind stealing in each case (with a standard bet of 3-4BB)?
