Default $12/180 basic preflop spot: KQs

Just hoping to calibrate my range here. What's your move in this spot? In a one-table SNG I would fold pretty fast. Not many hands on opp but his HUD stats were coming up reasonably tight.

Normally I don't think you have a ton of fold equity but if villain calls it cripples his stack. Without any reads I would normally shove around 22+ K9s+ KJo+ A8o+ A6s+ and possibly QT/JT/T9/98

this spot is read dependent for me if CO has raised from LP almost every round this level i like a push here if its the first hand you´ve seen him in its a fold, keep in mind that even against A-x you have a good shot at winning

I agree that this is a read-dependent spot. If he's calling with all Ax and pairs then obviously we're not in great shape but if he's folding the better hand a decent amount of the time it should be a pretty good resteal.

Most of the time I'm shoving this pretty automatically. However, if the guy has very low PFR numbers then I can see a fold.

This 100%, I guess you can call it read-dependent if you want but it'd take a damn strong read to get me to fold here. If he got to the table an orbit ago and hasn't played a hand yet that's just not enough of a reason to fold.

Thanks for the replies. What is your shove over range in this spot?

Without reads 66+, KQ, AT+, which might be too tight. Run it in wiz with cEV and give them different ranges.

sounds about right, i might throw in A8 and A9 aswell but right around there
