Default What I have learned about HU play....

Im starting to learn that HU play is all about being aggressive. Im slowly starting to find that most people will try to trap you with their monsters. I play aggressive on the button and will always raise 2.5xBB despite what I have. I do this to set up for the kill-shot, they can't put you on a good hand if you play your bad hands the same way you would play your good hands.

I dont know if that makes sense to most. But it makes perfect sense to me. Its hard for me to write what I am trying to say.

    Peace

I think too many players fold 0% of their hands heads-up. Depending on the opponent, I'll fold 10%-40%, mostly oop ofcourse. If I'm playing the hand on the button (which is very high %) I use a standard raise proabably like 75% of the time. I mix in some odd raises just to mess with their heads.

I fold like 30%, standard raise with average and good hands and just limp in with pocket pairs and 2 high cards. If the game takes too long, obviously, I'll vary it.
On the flop, I like to c-bet when I have some pair or high card (to look like a standard c-bet), check if the flop is not good and also check if I have a monster (slowplay). I've never read many recommendations about HU play, so...its still very intuitive for me.
I like to play OP in HU, its easier to trap.

Have you ever heard about the SAGE system in HU play? When you are shortstack and you play in push/fold mode your opponents tend to make mistakes. I heard its a great strategy against very good players, but I'm not sure if it works properly.

HU is starting with a massive chip advantage, losing 50 flips in a row, then die with JT vs J9. And there is no way around it.
