Hell no I'm not folding. We're 50-50 at worst, with lots of dead money.

Yeah BTN vs BB with TPTK and 50BB's in a $10 MTT...not folding. People defend with such wide ranges (lots of flushdraw possibilities) and they also do dumb stuff like c/r JT/QT/KT. I tend to keep my cbets smaller than that so I can bet the same size with my bluffs, but thats not a huge concern when your playing with randoms 99% of the time

Ok, yeah, instead of folding I actually shoved, but it got me thinking. What if you could narrow it so, that BB wouldn't reraise as a bluff/semi-bluff? What would you do now?

You said you had no reads. Even if you had a really solid read it is still pretty difficult to make the assumption that someone will not bluff/semi-bluff at least some percentage of the time.

Why are you putting A5 and A3 in there but not KT, QT, JT, also if he's calling preflop with 53s then he can have plenty of really crappy tens all the way down to T7. This is an easy shove.

Also please don't say you have no reads in the OP and then invent them in the middle of the thread.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I suppose I'm still a bit results oriented.
    I added 53s to villain's range, because that's what he had :P
But I'm glad you seem to think that my shove here was okay.

theres always an interesting dynamic in the LP raise vs BB defender, in that the bb defender sometimes go total apeshit insane post flop when they believe that you´ve missed the flop...
    A push seems fine here
