I am trying to learn how to play shootout tourneys and I need some help with strategy any thoughts

I haven't qualified for the weekend one yet on pokerstars. I usually go allin within the first 5 hands with any ace or pocket pair. After I double up I just raise it up a ton of hands. Say the blinds are 20/40 the raise bar says 80 in it well I stick a 5 6 or 7 in there to raise to 580, etc depending on how much I like the hand. I do this with any hand when the bb is a sitout. I steal the blinds and hopefully get people to fold or suckout when they do. |
