Default Is this still standard with the action in this hand (100nl)

SB is 23/20 with fairly high flop aggression.
BB is 39/12 whos fishy but not terrible.
CO is 20/13 who attacks weakness but no real reads beyond that.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($151.55)
    Hero (Button) ($126.75)
    SB ($101.15)
    BB ($177.65)
    UTG ($98.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 10
1 fold, MP calls $1, Hero calls $1, SB calls $0.50, BB checks

    Flop: ($4) 7, 8, 9 (4 players)
SB bets $4, BB raises $8, MP calls $8, Hero raises $35, 1 fold, BB calls $27, MP raises $140, Hero calls $90.75 (All-In)

    I hate preflop.

just call on the flop you've never getting it in as a favorite so just try and hit and not have the board pair.

Hmm, I thought PF was fairly close either way. Hate seems strong, it surely cant be that bad to see a flop cheaply IP multiway with 9Ts?

Ok well it's not bad I'd just prefer to pound on somebody who wants to limp oop. I think there's more value running somebody over whos playing this way at 100nl cause he has such a defined range when he does this and its much easier to exploit with a raise. He's not going to be balancing or even playing well when he does this. So just pound away until he gets frustrated and spews off the rest of his stack.

Yeah, I can see that. I've never really incorporated that kind of thing into my play, I guess I should start trying to.

It's not bad in the sense of being -EV, it's bad because raising is much much better. If you had AA then seeing a cheap flop would be +EV too.

If you're not pounding on bad players' limps in position then you're doing it wrong.

    I'd call the flop too.

It was the first time this session he'd limped, and he's not like a mega-fish or anything, just probably limps a few too many hands he should raise if he's going to play.

Question on calling flop. One reason I dont like it, is its hard to say which cards actually help me. Other than hitting my SF, am I happy if a spade hits? If a non-spade 6 hits? I probably have the best hand if a J hits, but could well just be splitting. Do I go into b/f mode if I hit a non-nut out?
