Awkward .. is 4x raise this guy's normal raise? How did he get the stack? Is he somewhat of a table bully?

I don't particularly like flatting and sticking 20% of our stack in but we have position on him. Folding I'm not overly keen on but it does keep us out of trouble. Shoving meh I don't think is awful. Not keen on raising to 1500 unless I've seen him fold to 3x bets pre and seen him open a wide range.

    call>shove>fold -

Unless his standard raise is to 4x the bb, it seems like a raise you make when you don't really want a call. I don't think this is AA or KK and I think you are going to get some calls from weaker hands if you push (a decent re-raise commits you anyway - so I push).

I don't like the line of calling and having to fold away 600 chips when he c-bets on an A, K or Q flop. It seems too weak to me.

Flatting here gives the shorties good odds to push a little wide and potentially make a huge pot, but shoving could win you the dead money right there. Stack sizes are a bit awkward for 3balling.

Flatting is the gambool option I guess, folding is the worst thing you could do though.

More opinions on this please, it's an interesting spot. FWIW I shove.

"Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!"

Unless he is super tight. No way I'm calling, As you are very likely to see an over, and he may well shove whatever the flop. Also, you're the only player villain really fears due to stack sizes. I think he folds a lot of hands to a shove here.

    Villains original raising range - 77+, ATs+, KJs+, AJ+ KQ+.
Villains range for calling you shove - JJ+, AK

Don't have access to any software as at work, so can anyone tell me the percentage of cards covered by each of the above ranges so we can then workout the propertion of the times he folds to our shove based on those ranges.

I think you gotta push here, dont let him out-play you after the flop.
