    Default MTT - $33 Poker Stars - Call/Fold/Raise?

45 minutes into a MTT I get Queens UTG. This is how the hand played out. What would you do here? Outcome to follow.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $30+$3 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (9 handed) -

    MP1 (t3090)
    MP2 (t2945)
    MP3 (t3015)
    CO (t2125)
    Button (t4480)
    SB (t3355)
    BB (t5465)
    Hero (UTG) (t5910)
    UTG+1 (t2300)

    Hero's M: 131.33

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Qd, Qs
    Hero bets t100, UTG+1 raises to t170, 4 folds, Button calls t170, 2 folds, Hero calls t70

    Flop: (t555) 4s, 5c, Kh (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, Button checks

    Turn: (t555) 5s (3 players)
    Hero bets t200, UTG+1 calls t200, 1 fold

    River: (t955) 5d (2 players)
    Hero bets t450, UTG+1 raises to t1050

    Total pot: t1855

I would just call he could have pocket 4's and think his full house is the best hand. Then again he could have pocket Kings or AK.

He has at least AK, more likely KK or AA so fold and why are you betting the turn and the river?

It's a fold he's got at least one king.

How close is it to 4bet pre? I wouldn't be too worried about the cold call by BTN since the 3bet was so small...he could be on a wide range. The tiny 3bet is KK+ a lot but it could still be TT-JJ

You have great odds to call and a lot of chips to waste. You could sacrifice more 600 chips here (to win 3x that)...
This guy can have a K, KK or AA. However, he could have sensed weakness in you with something like AQs, JJ, TT and raised not to get a call.

I should have really made a bet on the flop but he was slow playing a monster...

I did make the call and he had pocket Kings, so some of you were right on the money.

Improvement: Bet 1/2 or 3/4 pot on flop and if he calls/raises - FOLD

*fail* why would you bet the flop? what better hand folds and what worse hands call?

Yeah betting flop is not a good idea. As played I don't really like the plan of betting 2 streets unless you really think he'll station with TT-JJ...which he might if you bet smaller on the river. I think check/folding the flop is your best option for next time

Anyone wanna talk about 4betting pre?

yeah, this is such a silly 3-bet size. we want to start to build the pot into something so we can stack off at some point.

Well if you bet 1/3rd of the pot as a probe. If you get called or reraised you know he has something then check/fold from there.
