Should i have played stronger on the flop? and this was the second hand into the SNG so i had no idea what the guy could have. Im thinking it couldve been Ace with high kicker but would he have raised so much with that?

Of course ! You should strongly reraise him on the flop and tend to go all in.
If the opponent has A9 or 88, it happens, but most of time you are against AK, AQ, AJ, AT and 73% favorite to win this pot.

I would bet out a bit more on the flop, say 100-120. Bottom two pair is a strong but vulnerable hand because your hand could be counterfeited if the turn and river pair, and there are other cards you won't want to see on the turn if your flop bet is called (A, J, T). As played, after opp minraises I would re-raise big to say 500 or so rather than just flat calling.

On the turn, I don't understand your silly little bet. There are 440 chips in the pot, why bet less than 20% of the pot? If you believe your hand is still best (which I would) then you want to get more chips into the pot. After opp raises, again I would re-raise.

The same goes for the river. There are 760 chips in the pot at this point, why bet only 1/10 the pot? As played, I CALL the shove rather than folding, there are plenty of hands that opp had that he would play the same that you beat (mainly non two pair Ax, maybe even non-set pocket pairs).

If i flop a 2 pair, i always bet it hard, i feel like it is a vulerable hand. Especially in a $1 tourny where guys love to play A rag, you dont want them to hit a better 2 pair on the turn.

The most important thing to take out of this thread is to never make bets like this with any type of hand:

    *** TURN *** [Ad 9h 8c] [3s]
    Pot: 440
    thejesusfish: bets 80

Interesting hand, and I think it was badly played.

Flop: I would bet close to the size of the pot, once you got raised it makes the hand pretty interesting, villian limped from EP and it is a multiway pot, I dont think he is likely to have a hand like AK/AQ. I think the most likely hand is something like JT, QT, T7 trying to pick up the pot or get a cheap turn+river card. Other ptions are A with a weak kicker or he has you beat, and practically drawing dead.
I would reraise the flop again.

As everyone else said, dont bet so little on the turn and river, and as played call the push on the river

Ok, thanks for the advice everyone, im not really sure why i put such a low bet on the river and tbh i wasnt looking at the size of the pot. The main reason why i didnt call in on the river was because i didnt want to go out of the SNG on the second hand, but somehow in the end i finished first and got $4.50.

Ill try another sng now and ill post any hands i think i played badly or played well and try to improve.

Also is it easy to keep building your bankroll ONLY playing SNGs? or should i play some cash games in with it aswell?

    Thanks again!

OK, so this one is the very first hand and im dealt JJ, am i just playing way too passively? I mean up against two people who are betting big amounts i just thought 'if i dont hit the flop ill fold'.

Hand1: I would push over the flop, it is a great flop for you, and the fact that the original raiser did not reraise flop is a good indication he does not have AA/KK/QQ
Hand2: Raise preflop. I would push over his reraise

In the future please post seperate hands in separate threads, otherwise the discussion gets relatively hard to follow

There's your problem. You've nailed a monster pf hand and then limped it in.
Congratulations, you've won your dick's weight in sweets! Decode the message in the above post to find out how to claim your tic-tac
