Default Check/fold or shove the flop? Opinions?

This is early in a 3-table $5,50 tourney, I've been tight, CO's been aggressive, and shown down good hands.
Simple hand really, I'm interested to hear how you'd play this?

    No-Limit Hold'em, $50.00 BB (8 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP2 ($1050)
    CO ($2595)
    Button ($1125)
    SB ($920)
    BB ($2422)
    UTG ($2105)
    Hero (UTG+1) ($1620)
    MP1 ($1663)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, K
1 fold, Hero bets $150, 2 folds, CO raises $500, 3 folds, Hero calls $350

    Flop: ($1075) 9, 6, 10 (2 players)
    Hero ???

more details, this is a weird read

If you mean he's been opening a lot of pots then giving up unless he has good hands, then for sure just shove pre. But I doubt you mean he's been 3 betting a lot.

I would either shove pre flop, fold pre flop, or shove the flop. You should not get this much money in and then check fold, esp when you may have the best hand.

Even if his range is QQ+, AK you have 40% equity so getting it in pre is never going to be a huge mistake, but folding could be.

whether or not to stop and go vs 4 bet is really read dependent, you should not get a fold pre but that's a good thing if he can have AJ/KQ. Plus he may not get that he should never fold PPs so vs unknown I would shove.

When you say 'CO' has been aggressive and has showndown good hands. You're not saying he's been 3-betting alot though are you... because how many of his 3-bet hands have gone to showdown with stack sizes the way they are and 8 players left on the table.

I'm either shoving or folding preflop. If he's been really active (maybe whay you've meant here by aggressive?) then I'm shoving here and getting my next $5 ready.

No, for sure he hadn't been 3-betting a lot.. he had played quite a few hands aggressively lately, and those that went to showdown he had good starting hands (maybe he was running hot).
Of course I shoved the flop, should've shoved pre and see how it goes.

This is a messed up situation after reading the thread this is a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Considering that your villian is very aggressive, winning and has position on you. I would "think about it" let the timer ring then fold while screaming into a pillow

    1. Because the blinds are low enough for you to come back looks like you were at 25/50 blinds so you still have time.

    2. you still have FE where if you shove preflop with the next few(marginal/good) hands that come up you will get respected with a 10bb stack.

    3. AK is a good drawing hand, it just really suck when you miss a flop with so much invested you would still need to catch 1 of the remaining 6 cards. 24% chance of that happening by the river. Why risk it there will be better spots hopefully you will be in pos. Next time makes your job easier.

    4. Shoving flop, you are "hoping" you are ahead if his range JJ+ even if he paired the board already you need to improve to win(if he is smart he will know that you would not smooth call his 3bet with rags so the flop most likey missed you too) your shove would be called.

Imo shoving here is giving up too soon there are way better positions to get in to make a comeback.
You can't win pots if you fold.
