    Default Bizarre hand: wrong shove?

    Hi, guys
This hand is from a 0,50 + 0,1 SG at CDPoker. I was playing for the first time there and this bizarre hand happened when I was already ITM.

I wonder if the shove here is bad. I think it was ok...I was very short here and ITM. This particular table had a lot of limpers and very few raises PF.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $200.00 BB (3 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($8750)
    Button ($4790)
    Hero (SB) ($1460)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8, 8
    Button calls $200, Hero bets $1360 (All-In)

I feel like you have to shove that, just unlucky i guess. Should have been an easy fold for BB

This is another prime example of the limped AA UTG to beware of. Of course, I sometimes (once in 10 tourneys maybe?) limp UTG and Shove over to rep AA and get a fair number of folds, but I have seen this situation enough that I don't shove my marginal holdings (I'm still shoving 8s in your situation) when there's an UTG limper.

I can't imagine not shoving this. No reason to play to be blinded out. Make a note on button and move on.

its either shove fold and my decision would be based on what I thought of the btn limper
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

With your stack size, the blinds and the fact that you're already ITM there is no other choice than shoving IMO.

If this is the first time that Button had ever limped in the entire game I would pause to think about it and then still shove.

this, hero has 7bbs, auto shove. players at this level will limp a wide range. hero just hit the very top of villain's range IMO.

AA is the top of most villains' ranges, IMO.

    Eh??

Easy shove 3 handed with your chip stack, limper or no limper.

BTW, don't post results (not even in white) and don't post the action after your decision. It influences the advice you're getting. Take a look - once I remove the results and the subsequent action your decision becomes much clearer.
