There's always been rumors about online poker, and they'll never go away, it seems. It seems likely that there will be some small scale collusion going on from time to time, but the casinos have a lot of checks and balances to catch the more obvious cases.

Most pokerrooms use a system that tracks collusion. If two people play together 90 procent of the time on the low stakes tables the system will give a sign.

Most of the big sites won't let two players logging on from the same IP address sit at the same table. Sure, they can use IP masks and other tricky techniques, but the big sites are pretty vigilant at looking for unusual betting/calling/folding patterns (remember, they can see everybody's cards |

It's easily to have two players that cooperate together and have different IP Address in same table.

I have seen one painfully obvious example of this at ... dare I say it? ... a play money razz table on Stars. There were 2 players like Huffawin11 and Huffawin22. Almost comical. I contacted a moderator and they made a note on the guys account. No action since it was not real money. That was a while ago and I have not seen anything quite like it since.
