Default Tell me this was dumb

I planned on shoving any flop here, and when 3 spades came out felt it was ok. I guess i was feeling aggressive.

shove or fold pre with a strong lean to shove (EDIT, sorry I thought it was 3 bet to him)

calling and shoving any flop is super weird, betting 3x the pot is almost never going to be good.

Shove preflop with the limper and raiser.

As played, why not make just a normal bet? You have top pair and the nut flush draw, you don't want to scare away all your action. I make it 500 to go and shove the turn if called.

Preflop: Reraise, you are OOP and there is a limper who may call, you dont want to play a big pot 3 way OOP, you are better off ending the hand preflop

You have hit a great flop, my action on the flop depends on my read on the button, if he is likely to c-bet I check to him, assuming he is betting 400 or so you can minraise him setting it up for a value shove on the turn, there are very few cards that are scare cards for you so the risk of giving a free card is not great

Shoving on the flop isn't the smartest move, unless you know for certain he's going to call you anyways.

Are you posting this because he had a AT?

Ill post results in a bit, reason i posted this is i was getting all my money in regardless, just wanted to see what a good line would have been. I almost shoved pre, but for some reason decided to call and then shove flop.

He showed up with QQ. I would have got my money in as soon as the turn came. Is there any way to not go broke here?

Betting less on the flop, you don't know where you are in the hand after this move.

With top pair and the nut flush draw? I'm going broke here every time. Even if you make a more normal bet and opp shoves over, you have huge equity against his range considering the pot odds you're getting.

OK i just wanted someone to say that there was no way to not go broke here. I was getting all of my chips in regardless, overbet the flop to maybe get a fold on a made hand i was behind.

What hand that you were behind do you think will fold to a shove?

Probably just AQ. I just autoshoved the flop, didnt really put him on a range like i should have. Would anyone fold QQ to that shove?

i don't think you should worry so much about the play, i think you should worry about your thought process behind it. sounds like the equivalent of the defensive coordinator of a football team saying to his captain, "ok let's call the pick 6 play" instead of actually putting careful consideration as to what play will help his team win the game.

in other words, you called the "take a huge pot with a premium hand" play without putting much consideration into what the most EV course of action was

I definately did, mainly because of the time i was playing. Was really late at night, had to work the next day, girlfriends fallin asleep on the couch waiting for me to be done playing, etc. -EV to be playing in that situation.
