Newbie here:which is the quicker 1 tbl turbo - PS or FT?

Lurker here... but not really a new player newbie.

I've decided to concentrate my efforts to play one tbl turbo's really well.

I flip between FT and PS but I think I just need to concentrate on one site.

The turbos on FT have three minute levels while the PS have five minute levels. But there are no antes in FT.

So which turbo would be considered the faster turbo? I want to get to the push/fold stage quicker.

Hi and welcome to the forums, it's good to have you here.

You're right, FT levels are 3 minutes compared to PS's 5 minutes, but their blind structure increases more gradually than PS. I haven't actually done a comparison but you could run a spreadsheet comparing the Ms at various elapsed playing times if you wanted a really accurate comparison.

That said, if you really want to play nothing else other than push/fold, you should play FT's super turbos which start with 300 chips and 15/30 blinds, putting you into push/fold mode from the first hand.

I like to push/fold at opportune times when it's down to 5/4 players... I'm usually a f-in rock before that.

I used that spreadsheet of Mathboy on Patience Factor and full tilt is the faster tourney.
