This is play money and people can be very stupid. This hand was a trainwreck, I'm sorry.

    1) Calling preflop is stupid with that hand.
    2) Why are you betting 200 into a pot of 1000 on the flop?
    3) You catch your dream card on the turn, just to check fold to a MINIMUM BET??????
    4) Once the river comes, if your not already all in, you should fold as an 8 high flush with 4 hearts isn't as good as one with only 3 shared hearts.

How to play it next time: FOLD preflop

make a real bet the flop and try and get it in. A pair and a FD is a lot more than you could have hoped for.

turn is good, when 5 people call you have to assume your FD is no good. basically you took a terrible line that saved you a ton of money.

    Default To Golf Guy

It is for 5 + 50 real money. I was at an extrememly tight table. They hardly ever raised preflop. I was seeing like every flop. And they wouldnt bet unless they had a pair so it was a pretty weak table

So bet the flop, take it down, next hand

FWIW I would not play 83s on the button here even if SB and BB told me they would not raise

Yeah, 5 people seeing the turn isn't usually a characteristic of extremely tight tables.

Problem with playing hands like this in multiway pots is that even if you do make a monster often times it isn't best. Bet more on flop, turn fold is good just like doc said.
