Default AQ in turbo 10 man sit and go..

Ok, ive been playing a lot of 10 man turbo sit and goes $5.50

the hand before I had A6 short stacked so I shoved and caught an ace and a 6. I then get AQ suited in the next hand, I raise to 2x BB (I have like 10BB), Big stack shoves with (20BB).. Now I was thinking, an ace had come up on the flop last hand so its not likely it will come up this hand.. He had 88 and beat me.. Should I be thinking like that in poker?

thanks for the good laugh. Were you seriously thinking that the odds of an Ace coming up in the current hand were related to the face that an Ace hit the last hand? You lost a race, plain and simple.

also, never minraise pre-flop. If you aren't in shove mode then raise at least 2.5xBB.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

As I'm sure you'll find out from other posters, the two hands are completely different. They are "shuffled" after every game so there's no correlation unless you're superstitious. You were in a coin flip and lost.

Plus, if I have 10BB and A-Q I'm pushing, not just min-raising. You're pretty much pot-committed anyway if someone comes over the top.

Pretty much an auto open-shove preflop.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
