AQo, one villain

    Default AQo, one villain

I struggle to find the best line with AQ. It is a lot less strong than AK. Should I have called here? Villain's M is about 8, stats 13/6.5 over 60 hands.

yes, if you don't want to call a shove you should fold or call rather than re raise.

Your opp is in steal position and you look like you are just making a play back at him, especially since you min raised him, which looks like you left room to fold. He can be shoving some worse As, KQ/KJ, lots of PPs.

What drmc said. Also, I think you're calling here now.

He 3x'ed you from CO... u have AQ. I'm reshoving him all in here. He may have AK/AA/KK/QQ, but more than likely he has a smaller PP which you're a flip with, an AJ/AT hand that you crush. I know he's been tight, but you've got AQ vs. a CO raise.

This puts him to a tough decision instead of you, and you've got the chips to absorb one of these. I think the min-raise puts you in a tough spot because that shows considerable strength, and he's continuing. That strength could easily be JJ/TT/99 or less... he's short and looking to get it all in with a good hand.

As played... I still call, just because you're getting 2.16:1 on ur money, so u only need to win 1/3.16 times to be profitable, I think you've got way more equity than that.

i would have called too. it was prolly a 50-50,but u got more chips than him, maybe he was trying to steal ur raise,or something.
if u cannot spot the sucker on the first half hour at the table, you are the sucker.

Not a fan of the minraise, and agree with drmc.

Unless he's so tight that he would only play QQ+ this way you have to call after 3-betting, you pretty much have odds to call against AK here, and it's crazy to think he doesn't have hands you dominate here once in a while, I can't see him folding AJs.

Frankly this is a shove over pre and it's not close.
