    Default Thanks FTR!

I've just hit 1K for the month for the first time. Thanks a lot to everyone at FTR. I honestly would never have got there without the help I received on the forums.

I don't really have much experience in playing the 18 or 27, so I couldn't really compare.

This month I've been 15 - 20 tabling at anywhere from 6.5 - 18% ROI. I'd say the average is around 8-9%. So I guess you'll have to make your own mind up.

    Nice work fella.

Had no idea you were DONing it.

I'd be interested to know the fall off in ROI the more tables you run as I'm considering adding more myself. Perhaps you could make me a nice graph

Also, have you given the $20s a crack yet as I'm also considering this.

Basically, not much .... I have better stats 17-22 tables than 6-7 tabling these things. The obvious conclusion is either I've got better at the things or I'm playing fewer hands, which is better. The hard part is getting enough data at each multi-tabling level to say anything conclusive. I reckon about 30x no tables MTed is ok to check trends, but you need something like 100x to see your 'true' ROI.

    I'll PM you a screen-shot now-now.

Aye. They are a bit harder, since there usually isn't the one or two donks that eliminate themselves real quick and donate equity to everyone. 10-tabling I have run at 1.5% over about 200, which is obviously a bit low and goes to fuel the argument that a larger dataset is required. Even when you have 2000 of these things, one bad/good set can change your ROI by a few decimals.

After I ran a bit bad I dropped down to the $10's again as I couldn't see myself 20-tabling the $20's, not because I don't think I can, but because only winning 6 or 7 in a set means you drop $150, which is a significant amount of money to me. That affects your game and before you know it you're running scared. I'd rather pwn the $10, where losing $50 in a set isn't a huge issue.

Ok, one more question. What sort of volume (hours) are you playing daily/weekly? Any preferred times?

It depends, but last month I fitted in 40 hours. On good days I'll sometimes push 150 in day, but that's when I'm avoiding work.

I usually play between 10am GMT+2 and 4pm and then sometimes in the evening between 5pm and 7pm and sometimes after 9pm until about 12pm. After that I'm too tired to play my A-game, so I stop. I'd say most of my games are in the 10am - 4pm slot. It isn't the best time in terms of fish, but it suits me a bit better.

I avoid Sundays like the plague. Too many calling stations to suit my style and I just end up tilting.
