SNG Double or Nothing strategy?

To make a long story short, I'm interested in learning, which strategy is the best in Double or Nothing 10p SNG's (Turbo where I play).
I'm a pretty decent normal SNG player, but since I began to study, I do not have such a large bankroll, so it cannot survive too much swings.
I read that you have to change strategy, when dealing with Double or Nothing SNG's, so was hoping some of you could give me a little advice on how to play these?

Hi! Yeah I've already read that thread, but I can't seem to find anything other than "adjust your game alot", there's no really indication of the style of play, but guess I just have to jump in.
Common sense would be to play tight and wait for the big hands, instead of chasing cards and playing drawing hands, but wether to play very tight at early stages and tight at later stages or the opposite, I don't really know.

Thank you, been using the site for over a year, actually I've read your guide: Low Buy-in SNG Do's & Dont's, helped me a lot when I started playing poker.
I'll wait and see if there's some with experience in playing these SNG's, who cna give me some advice, I think they're very different from the normal ones.

Hi...I've played a few of these, at the 2.2$ level. and I didn't really experience that you can fold ITM.Most of the time, I had to fight for it.

You still have to play tight at the beginning. And if you get KK,AA and there is 2 allin before you on the BUBBLE...You would be correct to fold! And keep a look out for SS's

Playing tight and waiting for big hands is the best strategy in these. If you double up early, it is usually correct to play even tighter for the rest of the SnG.

It is also important to always take notice of the other players' stacks. If you are a couple of places from the money, and there are a few shorter stacks around, it is probably correct to fold almost every hand.

When it comes down to the bubble, being aware of stack sizes and your position at the table relative to different stack sizes is very important.

Play KK+ until antes kick in. Push when not in top 5 when folded to in lp. Learn to love the fold button. Don't play a hand unless you are getting better than 2-1 when you are in the top 5.

+1 Rage ... if you take down a big pot resist the urge to dominate the table. I have seen people w monster stacks go from 1st to out with 6 players left because they called a couple of shoves w crap cards.

I'll also throw a couple more things out there:

1. My results are a substantially better with the non-turbo flavor. The blind structure on Stars goes up so fast after 50/100 that you will be hard pressed if you go card dead at a tight table.

2. There seems to be more and more donks at the $1 game. Yeah, these are dead money over time but it kind of sucks to raise 4x w AA then have some douche shove w Q7 off and hit runner-runner for the flush.

3. If you can swing it the $5 games offer a much better chance to actually play (aka "put someone on a hand"). I have better than a 3:1 ratio at the $5.40 DoN whereas I am about 1.6:1 at the $1.15 DoN.

The most important thing is to know push-fold dead cold. You can fold every hand until 50-100, then it's push or fold. Never chase a draw. Never call a standard raise with suited connectors and crap. Nit it up. You can OPEN raise with a suited connector (or ATC) in late position if the table's been playing tight, which it usually will.

Most people aren't bluffing. A bet on the flop usually means a made hand or very strong draw (which you should never be chasing). It's more important to preserve chips since there's no advantage to accumulating any more than enough to get you 5th place.

You will fold AK. You will fold AA at times. If you can't lay down AJs in the BB on the bubble when the button shoves, stick to regular SNGs.

Gave the don sngs a shot a while ago, but I didn't think they were profitable enough for me, so decided to just play normal sngs. You have to multi table a lot of them at the same time to be profitable, but if you are a decent player it's much more reasonable to play the normal ones.

I have a video of yours truly multi-tabling these things, which is either going to posted in Rage2100's multitabling thread or my 2k post (or maybe both). Anyway, I'm looking for a good way to compress the crap out of it, as I need it to be fairly small because of my horrible capped internet deal.
