    Default Possible cheater?

I'm in a MTT and see a guy bust someone out with a weak hand. The guy who got busted out said "Nice cheat program", so of course I go to the PokerDB to see the guys stats. There are several weird things I notice when looking at them, and was hoping to get some clarification.

To begin with, the screen name is 02coolVW, and he is playing on UB/Absolute. Specifically I am looking at the stats from 01/01/2009 to 07/10/2009.

The stats say he is has cashed 12.39% of the time, or 14 out of 113 tourneys played. Then it says he's made 50 final tables with a 44.25% rate. The amount of money he's won though doesn't match up to any of this.

Could someone look into this and explain it better?

you think he's a cheater because his stats are messed up? Or you think he's cheating by making the FT without cashing?

Does it matter? Who cares if his stats are jacked, this doesn't mean he's a bot. It means the site responsible for generating villains stats is whacked...Im sure there are MTTSNG's where not everyone at final gets paid but still qualifies for rankings.

Are you sure that you filtered PokerDB correctly? Also, stop being so paranoid.

Well a few responses, but no true help. There used to be a time on this forum when responses were relelvant and helpful.

Did I filter PokerDB correctly? To be honest, I'm not sure. I've never messed with the filters, but this is the only person that I've checked on to have stats look like this, so I'm sure the filter is the same for him as it is for everyone else.

It is possible that the villain has been in MTTSNG's where not everyone at the final table gets paid. but still qualifies for rankings, however PokerDB distinguishes between the two, and it shows he has won $0 in those so I doubt that is the case. Even a mediocre player would need to hit cash at least once if he made it to that many final tables.

As for why I think he's a possible cheater; I'm not sure if he is or not. I DO know however that UB has had MAJOR issues with online cheating which has made me a bit wary. I also know that I find any information I can gather on a player (such as their stats) as useful in developing a read on them, and I will always take any advantage I can get. I'd like to know if the information I have at my disposal is reliable or not though.

I don't play a ton on UB, but if he is playing a majority of 18-45 man SNGs then he easily could be FTing close to half the time and not cashing.

We gave you plenty of relevant info. Just because we didn't jump at your will to find out why his stats are messed up doesn't mean we didn't give you plenty of valid points. Did you ever think to email PokerDB if you were that worried about it?

If you ask me, I would love to have someone at my table who makes FTs consistently and never cashes. More chips to take and odds are he will give them easily. So I reiterate..whats the issue?
