Default Stack size vs reads with AQo to call AI

I dont have stats but my note on villain is that he overplays all pairs. Does my stack size make this an insta-call? With his large push I dont see what I would be ahead of here, thus my fold.

None of the limpers or players behind him have more than 2k, so he's just effectively shoving 15BB's. His range is likely wider because of that and I don't think I'd fold. You only have to worry about the MP1 limp because MP3's overlimp with a 12BB stack is a trash hand 99% of the time

    folding here seems terribly criminal.

    also, assign a range.

given the dead money in the pot and your small stack size you should call.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

I cant think of a range that would be correct as this is the first time villain open shoved 30 bb.

I was more curious if my stack size made this an insta-call.

I think you need to work on your shortstack play.

    This.

And to be honest, you don't really need to even worry about ranges here. Yes, your stack size made this an instacall. Especially since villain almost NEVER has AA/KK, and I'd guess probably not QQ here either. I guess he has AK sometimes, but oh well.

This is a good spot to get your chips in. I think you might be missing out on similar situations.

I need to work on everything poker related not just SS play. I was thinking gap concept here as my reasoning for the fold. My shoving range is pretty wide after I laid this down.

Fact that you can't last more than 9 more rounds + AQo is awesome in this spot = get chips in. You need to think about cEV and less about gap concept. You need to double up or bust in order to make it deep. This is a good spot.

this is purely assigning a range to the CO and going with it. If he is shoving AJ/AT or worse here you snap call. If not, it's a fold.

I could not see CO open shoving like this with AJ or AT. Plus I think villains line fits in with my said read.

    1400 to win a minimum of about 1900. 14/33=42.4%.

If his range really is any pair/AQ+ then this is still close.

Remember, he's only shoving 15bbs even though it looks like 30. Without a read I'd say AT/AJ is pretty likely to be in his range
