Sorry, no stats but villian is not a loose player accept his raising 5bb pre with 88 out of position. I am not sure if this is a fold.

Preflop and flop look fine, but why not just shove the turn? Why do you believe that the 4 helped opp?

I dont know with what kind of a hand he can flat the bet on the flop. I put him kinda draw and was planning to call his bet on the river if it was a decent bet. I just couldn't see how he flatted the flop.

It's been 3 years since I've played these...

If he's slow playing, nh. I can't imagine checking behind turn with 1/2 PSB unless I'm calling ANY river.

Are you really worried villain flatted TT+, 34, 56, then c/c the flop? Your fold leaves you with 8bb, which is gross.

Well I don't put him TT+ he would most probably reraise. I once raised with 88 and he reraised me,I folded and, he showed me QQ. He would most probably reraise me again knowing that I am able to fold if he had TT+. I suspected a draw or a set.

This is a $1 SnG, and the bb has a dominant stack. I'd be interested in noting what kind of read he had on you, and your table image.

A few people might disagree with this, but I play smaller stake SnGs pretty aggressively when the blinds are at that level. You raised to 500 so he had to call 300 for an 800 pot. Nearly 3:1 odds there, and not even a dent in his stack.

I PFR 800 here, and show everyone I'm serious about this hand. A call gives you more information. If he calls the PFR I'm considering a push with that kind of flop.

Having said that though, I think your river fold was solid. His PFR call was easy, but what could he have had that allowed him to call your flop bet? The only thing I can think of is a lower pocket pair, and on that board that might have meant a set. He may have seen your flop bet as something like AK or AQ.
