I don't like it, his range has a lot of 9x and sometimes overpairs (but you haven't given us any reads about whether he's tight or fishy)
I'd check turn and decide based on his timing and bet sizing

why are you potting the flop when the board is super super dry and your overpair is only 1 up on the pair showing on the board

Your bet sizing is a bit too big preflop and on the flop leading to a bloated pot and you becoming pot committed. I make it 120 preflop, as played 250 on the flop, check/call the turn and re-evaluate on the river.

The pot did get a little big, The 4x open was a misclick. I definately should have bet the flop less, but i kind of wanted a fold, didnt want to see overcards.

Your thinking is off base here. Since you're ahead of opp's range here, you actually want him to call. If he has something like QJ, A9 or similar he is way behind you at this point so you don't want to blow him out of the pot. If scare cards come on the turn (as they did) you can re-evaluate at that point but worrying about future scare cards coming shouldn't cause you to make a less than optimal flop decision.

I agree that 120 preflop and 250 on the flop helps keep the pot size under control.
