Taking Notes on players

Hi, new here to FTR...I've read most of the sticky posts which have vastly improved my game. I have started to identify the weaknesses that I have and was hoping to see some discussion on the topics in order to help my own game out.

I always find myself meaning to take notes on other players while I am playing but usually end up with the note (this guys a donk), which isn't very helpful. So I am wondering what specific patterns or tells you are looking for and if you use a specific system. Thanks.
