I can tell you from my experience that it probably won't be a lot. These are pretty hard to do well in. I've played about 50 or so, cashed in about 14 (so that would be 28% ITM). ROI is pretty low too. I find them hard because you need to get cards in the middle to late stages because it's push time for a lot of players then. If you can't get the cards, the blinds will eat you alive and you're forced to start pushing with less than ideal cards.

Then again, maybe my style of play isn't very conducive to success in these since I play fairly TAG and try to wait out the good cards. In order to make the good money, you have to finish in the top 4. From 18-10 pays the same, which is 4.32. After that it starts to go up, but even finish 6th pays only $18 I believe. Takes roughly 1 1/2 hours to finish one of these if you're lucky (or good) enough to make it that far.

Basically what do u reccomend to a cash player who is looking to have some fun in MTTs around the $2 level. I use to play tons of single table $16 turbo back in the day, so my ICM is not so bad.

    Maybe the 45 mans ?

I've played about 50 or so
a good rule of thumb is if your sample size is smaller than the number of players, it isn't a sample size

OP I don't see why it matters, but just go to OPR or somewhere similar and look up some of the people playing in them. Or since you want to have fun, do what you enjoy?

I say roll with the 180 mans. Just dont freak when you have to play +cEV situations. There is a lot of pushing in these and taking very thin edges.

Yeah i got like 500BI for these things so that should be enough for variance lol

if you play cash games you'd probably do better at the 4.40 regular speed games, but I'm just saying that based on the (little) experience I have with each.

Variance is crazy in the 180 turbos. Have your favourite tilt "easy button" near by.

Granted it's not much, but it's something. In my limited experience in these things it's safe to say that the variance is very high. I agree that I wouldn't use my 50+ games and say that you should be above or below my 28%. Hell, I think I'm better than 28% and I just haven't gotten on a good run yet.
