Default $50+5 AK flop an Ace, lead out and get min raised

Villian is something like 40/10 over ~50 hands. I feel that min-raises like this are either trying to pick off c-bets, or represent a big hand. I have been tight up to this point. I really hate calling here and think that this is either push or fold, but I am open to any thoughts. I know I should have lead out more on the flop, but as played what is your next move.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $50+$5 Tournament, 50/100 Blinds (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB (t2945)
    BB (t473)
    UTG (t2562)
    Hero (MP1) (t2750)
    MP2 (t1220)
    CO (t1100)
    Button (t2450)

    Hero's M: 18.33

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K, A
    1 fold, Hero bets t300, 2 folds, Button calls t300, 2 folds

    Flop: (t750) 7, A, J (2 players)
Hero bets t300, Button raises to t600, Hero?

Bad spot. At a low buyin I would fist pump shove over, but at this buyin it is very player dependent. If you have time, I fire up Sharkscope and see whether he's a winning or a losing player. If he's a losing player I happily shove over all day long. If he's a winning player that's a tough spot since he just flat called preflop...

Oh, I agree with you - you should have led out for at least 500 which makes your decision to shove over the minraise easier.

Villian called preflop and then minraise the flop, if he has any hand that beats us I do not see any logic in his move, I can see a case of flat calling to entice another bet on the turn and I can see a case of raising to protect the hand vs possible FD/SD.

I think villian's minraise can be one of two things
    1. Trying to buy a free card on the turn for relatively cheap. he may have a FD, FD+pair etc...
    2. Putting you on a c-bet in a missed flop and trying to buy the pot for cheap, especially considering your relative small bet on the flop

    I would shove over

I completely agree with everything TLR said.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

    Bad spot.

You have the ace and the king, we made the hand we want, there are a zillion draws, if you are beat it's a cooler, gg. Were you hoping to make TP and have him fold? I'd start looking over your game because you're probably making some terrible folds with 25BBs esp when it's still 7-8 handed.

Shove anytime, your bet looks weak so he might pick up on that and he could be min-raising with air. Or he's semibluffing for a freecard on the turn, or he's a bad player with Ax or KJ who will call anyways.
    If he's got AJ/JJ/77 it's a cooler..ship it imo

    Scandinavian mini raise bluff IMO.

I guess I am a little confused by this part of your post. Is this directed at Tai for thinking this was a bad spot? Or is it directed at me for even considering posting this hand for discussion, when there is an obvious best play? Or at both of us.

Maybe if I posted this as a line check it would have been more appropriate.

You're right, it isn't a bad spot and in a game I would insta shove over. I suppose the only thing that made me hesitate was the buyin level, but you still get bad players at $55s.
