Default Late game push in DoN vs Stack size

Game : Double or Nothing SNG - micro limits PS

Problem : Getting low in chips, maybe 6th or 7th (out of 7), what range/position/lowest stack size(M) are you using to push ? ATC ?

    Regards

It depends on how tight the blinds are, what their stack size is, who's active around you, etc. Your question isn't specific enough to give a short answer. You want to be able to steal some blinds, not wait to catch a monster and double up.

In late position, if it's folded to you (CO or button), you'll have to shove pretty wide (top 15%? 20 if blinds are tight?) and expect not to get a call 75% of the time, especially if you've been quiet. Fold equity is your friend in these.

Watch Nakamura's multitabling video on these. He winds up 8/15, for a tiny profit, and there are some hands I differ with him on, especially JJ and AK in some of the spots he folded, but you'll see him fold AT several times in late position even to preserve his fold equity so that when he gets to true push-fold, he is seen at the table as tight.

Great video, and he's the man to run 15 at a time. I'm certainly not there. But DON's are great for multitabling because it's such a level-1 game. Most decisions are standard. Nothing fancy, so they're a great way to build a roll once you solve the level you're playing at (micro levels like $1 will have more people donking off loose, so you need to tighten up your calling and shoving ranges, but I have to think you can survive a lot of them at that level without playing too many hands at all.
