SNGWIZ question

    Default SNGWIZ question

I'm messing around with the SNGWIZ trial and I've just imported all my HH from today. I am confronted with a page with what seems like particular hands. Is Wiz picking up all the close hands and presenting them here, or am I missing something? The "Help File" isn't particularly helpful with this matter.

What you're seeing should be every single hand from each of your tournaments. There's a drop down menu at the top of the screen that allows you to select the tournament to review. Is that what's happening?

There is a drop down menu of all your tournaments. Each individual tournament has all the hands that you played, including your hole cards. However, it isn't very useful to look at hands where you have an effective stack of > 12 BB; as these hands are probably going to be played through normal raises/limps. In situations where you have < 12 (or maybe 10, I forget) BB, Wiz will put a green checkmark or a red X next to each hand. These show whether you made the right decision based on Wiz's default ranges for opponents in that situation. Please remember that you have to alter the ranges of opponents because Wiz' defaults may or may not be way off

No. The drop-down box just has yesterday's date in it. It only seems to have one hand from each tournament. Maybe the trial version only displays one hand from each tourney?

    Yup, I see that.

As far as I know the trial version is fully functional, but it stops working after 30 days. What's happening is weird. Perhaps you should download the latest version in case there's been some change in the HH format that means Wiz can't load the HHs?

This is the latest version from the Wiz website. I'm busy playing at the moment, but I'll have another look at it later and report back.

The drop-down menu shows all of the tournaments, and when you click on each one, each hand from that tournament should show in the main window.

The only thing I can think of is HEM moves your HHs to another directory after a specified time. I think the default is 15 minutes. You may need to set your SNGWIZ directory to where HEM moves the HHs to, and make sure they have all moved before you open them in WIZ.

Thanks. I thought I posted here a few hours ago, but obviously I didn't 'submit' the post. I tried importing in Wiz again and it works fine. I'm not too sure what the issue was the first time, but it works now.
