    Default Defensive & Offensive Play

    I was wondering if someone can share some insights on SnG defensive & offensive strategies that they have.

    Guess I better clarify what I meant by defensive & offensive strategy (since I'm not sure if this is a common term used).

    Defensive play for me is when you have average or below average chips on a table while;
    Offensive play is when you're having a significant lead in chips

    Essentially I believe that the strategy of chips calling/raising would be different for both these plays.

    Personally, I think I'm alrite with defensive play (since it prob requires strong probability logic) but when it comes to offensive play and going for the kill, it's something I'm quite weak at. Would love to hear some thoughts.

    I'd suggest reading through the Sticky Section on SNG play,.. there's alot of great stuff in there.
    Not quite getting where you're going with your post here.... offensive/defensive?? Read thru some SNG strategy & I think you'll change the way you're looking at the game.

    I see big chip stacks raising every hand, no matter what. I'm not sure this is the best strategy, although it works sometimes. I've seen them go from hero to zero in a few hands also. I loosen up with a big stack, but still fold bad hands.
