    villain has been folding to my cbets so far.
    He's running 20-14-8 (vpip/pfr/3-bet).
    We're in the last 14, 12 pay

    I don't really get the question, are you wanting to know if you should wait for the river? He's not folding an ace, you aren't folding, nh?

    I actually have a question for you: why don't you open 3xBB with a good hand?

    a) it is easier to steal with weaker hands when a hand of this strength goes to showdown,

    b) you want villian to call.

    what are the other arguments behind it?

    are you saying we should always raise 3x or vary the raise depending on our hand?

    I don't really think this thread is the place for this discussion, how about you start a new one, starting with why you raise 3x, and we can go from there.

    i'm new to MTTs and have an idea that 2.5x is appropriate here with my entire opening range. I will follow any discussion on pros and cons closely.

    yeah, looking back i figure that there was no other line that made sense, maybe waiting until the river to shove - but i think turn is better. Just wanted to make sure, thanks
