Default 77 in the BB, button open raise and c-bet ($27)

Opp's stats were 18/14/5.3 over about 380 hands. How is this line? I am pretty sure that he is c-betting here. Does anybody shove back preflop?

I think pre-flop is fine but am not sure I like this line on the flop. He is folding all hands that you beat here and probably only continuing with the hands that beat you with the possible exception of 99, TT and MAYBE JJ (if he narrows your range to AcKc, AcQ). What is your plan here if he shoves over your raise?

Personally I think a better line here is to flat the c-bet and see what happens on the turn.

Just check-call and if you think he barrels too much then slowplay big pairs and sets against him but this c/r is horrible under any circumstance.

So we let him get a cheap turn card?? What if another club hits, what about any card 10+? Check/calling the flop only leaves us to fold the turn just about everytime. I think this play was just fine.

i think the raise is ok because it will give u a lot more information than just calling and theres nothing wrong with taking the pot right there instead of letting him draw

I dont think the reraise is bad, but I think I bet less then 500, I think 350-400 will do the job, if he c-bets he will probably not call with 2 overs

Assuming that the turn comes a blank (which most turns will be) then what is our plan? Check/fold?

Stacks are a bit awkward for preflop shove, I just c/c the flop and c/f all but the smallest bets on the turn. It sucks but not a hand I want to play a big pot for here.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

I would Check/Call and see the Turn.

But I like your play also.
Nothing wrong with putting him on a decision and controlling the betting at the same time.

There's quite a lot wrong with controlling the betting when you only beat a bluff.

Unfortunately yes unless I think he is capable of firing two or three barrels with air. Then I may call a smallish bet on the turn.
