Default preflop decision with JJ ($16 9-max turbo)

    Limper was 30/9

Are we trying to get value here by standard 3x raising or should we just go for the immediate +EV shoving has and hope he hasn't limped an overpair...

I thought at the time that if I standard raised and he shoved over I would hate my life so:

Considering stack sizes, I'd make it 350 to go and play a flop if he calls. If he shoves over, I call. I've learned not to put a limp/re-raiser on AA and KK alone after seeing the sort of crap they pull this move with.

Then I guess my question should be what do we do on particular board textures...

assuming he just calls our raise preflop there will be 750 in the pot, what should we be firing as a c-bet on most boards? 2/3 pot?

Is our standard line going to be bet-fold for most boards that contain overs?

I think it is very dependent upon the flop texture. On an A high flop I probably don't c-bet, on a K or Q high flop I most probably do. I also tend to avoid c-betting on drawy boards like 9d 8d 7c unless my JJ also flops a combo-type draw.
