    Default 50NL- Early Session Hands

these hands are from about 20 hands into the session, so they share the same thing in common that i don't have well developed reads.

    HAND 1:

villain who opened UTG looks like a TAgg reg, and villain who flatted in MP looks like someone who's remotely heard of tagg poker, but sucks at life (18/5 or something). villain in BB who flatted my 3b is a station fish

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG ($50.75)
    MP ($88.15)
    Hero (CO) ($52.30)
    Button ($51.90)
    SB ($50)
    BB ($33)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 8
UTG bets $1.50, MP calls $1.50, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, BB calls $5.50, 1 fold, MP calls $4.50

I'm thinking flatting>squeezing>>>folding. I thought that i could exploit MP's calling the PFR too wide better by 3b'ing, but this play is prolly better if original PFR isn't UTG?

    Flop: ($19.75) 5, 3, 5 (3 players)
BB checks, MP checks, Hero checks

not the worst flop in the world. i could bet 10 here and put the rest of the station's 17 in on any turn that gives me outs, but i feel like he calls the flop with KJ, thinking "obv he's FoS betting at this flop" and then call of the rest on any turn because he's committed, so i decided to give up on my bluff for now.

    Turn: ($19.75) 6 (3 players)
    BB checks, MP checks

yay, i pick up outs, but surely there's no way to continue bluffing here. i could barrel the turn and river, but i can't even be sure that folds out A-high. giving up on this board ok?

    HAND 2:

villain who min 3b is like 55/17 at the time. This is his 1st 3b, but given how early in the session it is, i'm still putting him on a wide range. Two villains who are left to act are 44/17 (41% call PFR) and 13/10. so i'm well ahead of one of their ranges, and the other one likely has mid SC's/small PP's so will prolly fold if i iso

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($49.25)
    Button ($55.30)
    SB ($20.55)
    BB ($64.10)
    Hero (UTG) ($55.60)
    MP ($57.30)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, A
Hero bets $2, MP calls $2, CO calls $2, Button raises to $3.50, 2 folds, Hero's turn to act?!

folding obv seems silly, but flatting gets us in terrible spots (bad absolute position and god awful relative position). so 4b iso LAggish fish OTB? if so, i assume i'm folding to a shove?

Hand 1, I flat the 3x raise and bet the flop $4 if checked to in the 3way pot. I think you're on the right track with your thought process about not 3 betting the UTG raiser. MP & CO would make a sqz more attractive.

Hand 2, Your range is so far ahead of his. 4bet to $11 and shove over fish's 5bet. He probably thinks he's juicing the pot with a hand like Axs or mid PP.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Hand 1: I like calling mostly because of position and caller in between. UTG will c/f a decent amount of flops.

Hand 2: Raising seems better than calling. Not sure wether to fold or call to a 5bet and they might as well be close, but raising in itself seems quite superior to calling to me.

Ignoring pf in 1, which I'm sure is fine from time to time, not betting the driest flop in history when you're the pf aggressor is fairly bad, you're going to take the pot down alot if you bet, the next best thing would be to now bet the turn.

    hand 2: Just 4 bet to $10-11.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.
