I'd bet less on flop, you want make it easy for smaller pairs to call and maybe even overs to make a play.

I'd just bet 1/2 PS on the turn and go from there. If fish stations beat my over pairs they are usually in good shape, that's the best part of being a station.

As played you have to call, he could be doing this with anything with the line you took. And running 83% he doesn't think about stuff like what your calling range on the river will be, he may have A8 and raised because he thinks it's the best hand.

I think this is a much better situation than taipan's....even though it's more likely he has the trips card, it doesn't really matter in either case. There are more hands he can take this line with that you beat and frankly your line looks so weak he could have anything, drmc said.

They are never folding pocket pairs on this flop so, I didn't want to slowplay it and bet the pot.

I don't think my preflop and flop lines are weak.

However, after BB's cold call even before UTG acted, made me suspicious and I didn't want to build the pot. If he has PP, I am going to get the value on the river anyway. Therefore, I checked the turn. My river bet was in fact something between a value bet and a stopping bet. Are we betting for value or for stopping bet on the river?

he's raising with any J or a full so I don't see what use a blocking bet has, you're just getting less value.

OK then, I'll bet the turn and river, and fold to a raise depending on the amount of it.
