Default Flopped set, line check $5.50

Should I have raised flop? At the river i know I'm beat but I had to see what he bet/called the turn with, maybe lower set so I called.

    behind you with an axe
100% yes. There are 2 villains & a drawy board.

You should have bet the flop. Firstly, you could have got them to call a bigger bet and started building the pot. Secondly, check raising that flop is practically screaming I have a set. Would J9, A8 or 44 check raise? It would be alerting even the donkest of opponents to at least the possibility that you have 2 pair+.

I also think that your call on the flop was correct and folding would have been a mistake. You were getting more than 5 - 1 and it was by no means certain you were beaten. Yes, UTG could well have had JT, but Tx or 5x are a bit more of stretch. He could also have had hands like A9, K9, A8, T9, 98, 76 so I think you were correct to call.

I agree with the others, with FIVE opps seeing the flop and a drawy board, I bet like 2/3 pot and take it from there. Somebody's gonna call you, which will allow you to shove the turn without it being an overbet.

As played, I think the turn raise is fine since the 4 is unlikely to have helped opp's hand, and on the river I call for the reasons linaker said.

checking-calling a small bet on the flop is a bad play, Taipan and Linaker mentioned a few good reasons to bet, another reason is that any 5,7,T will either put you behind or will severely diminish your chances from extract chips from hands that you have beat.
Also you simply cannot risk giving a free card on this flop

def lead flop. 200-250 into 360 is what i would have done. had i checked though def c/r .

theres no reason we shouldn't be able to have most our chips in the pot on the turn when the pot size on the flop is like 1/4th our stack
