I always hesitate with 99 and TT, between limping and raising. I chose to open limp this time because I had raised and bet aggressively post flop all the previous hands I was involved into, and had won them all without ever going to showdown. My thinking was to limp and possibly call a small raise, rather than exposing myself to a big preflop reraise, and also not to invest too much (blinds are quite high already) on a hand that is easily dominated post-flop.
The game is your usual low stakes STT, with people limping a lot and playing their Ax and any 2 suited and any paints.
Now clearly, an argument can be made for raising this preflop, I suppose. What do you guys think?
On the flop, the board is drawy and since I failed to raise preflop, the pot is small so I think I should maybe have overbet it (t600?) to make a call a more significant portion of opps' stacks? Thoughts about that?
I don't think I would have played the turn differently given opps' wide range. You?
