    Default MTT books

Hello everyone. I am going to order MTT books on NLH and I am wondering what your suggestions are. The only tournament book I read is Harrington on Holdem - Volume II. So, I am going to buy HOH - Volume I and if you have any suggestions that I can add next to HOH, that would be great. Thanks!

Winning Poker Tourneys 1 hand at a time
    Kill Everyone
    Every Hand Revealed
    TPFAP
Full tilt's tourney book (this would be higher but some of the chapters are not NLHE)
    HOH 3

more or less in order, all are worth reading.

Elements of Poker is also excellent although it is not MTT focused.

Kill Everyone and HOH series were good reads. HOH is a bit outdated but still has some good fundamentals and such. If nothing else it helps you develop a problem solving approach to NLHE and turns you into a thinking player if you are not one already.

I was not that impressed with Every Hand Revealed and I am surprised you have it that high on your list. That probably means I need to reread it because I just missed a bunch of stuff.

I thought Hansen's book was a very interesting read because it gives insights into a player whose thinking isn't always "normal". It's not a book I'd recommend very highly for players who'd be better served to focus on improving more basic aspects of their games.

The section on NLH MTTs in Negreanu's book was a worthwhile read too, with the same caveat.

"Winning Poker Tournaments - One Hand At A Time" is for sure at the top of my list of favs. (but I'd recommend reading HOH series prior for sure).
I didn't care much for Gus's book either. Maybe I had expectations for it to be something I felt it wasn't.
Daniel's section in his book is a decent read as well.... the rest of the book is less than desirable imo (actually alot of wasted pages... I feel he should've just written even more in his section instead).

yeah DN's book is a scam. The Todd Brunson section especially was embarrassing. One page with a graph about what hands dominate A9, QJ etc is marginal, but an 8 page pictorial representation after that is just padding so you can charge more. His section is OK but I will never ever recommend it to anyone because it's a 35 page book they made into 300 or whatever and you can find those 35 pages elsewhere.

I mostly like Gus's book because he doesn't make a single play that I can't/don't make and I think that's a great confidence boost.
