Been having a bad downswing lately, need to take a good look at my play. I figured I'd put a SnG where I might have made a bad play and busted out, but after briefly going over these hands, I see some spots where although I got first place is a mix of good/bad play. So please have at this!

2. 99 - personally I would raise it up after the button limp. As played, I think checking the flop is fine but I would lead the turn for 150 or so.

3. KQo - I'm not delighted about calling the raise particularly with the SB calling as well. If the SB had folded I would call however. As played, definitely raise the flop. I'd make it 550 to go and stick the rest in on the turn. Can't believe that opp folded after putting like 3/4 of his stack in the pot!

A 2 SB (Hero's M = 43.83; f+f+f+f+f+f+F) (between 3 and 4) - raise this when folded to in the SB

A 8 Button (Hero's M = 35.13; f+f+f+F+c+s+s+b+f) (between 4 and 5) - raise this

5. 99 - this applies to a lot of hands afterwards as well - once blinds hit 50/100 you can make it 250 rather than 300 to go

6. JTo - flop bet is fine, but 130-150 is better than full pot

10. AJo - I bet the flop after opp checks. As played, why bet so tiny? I'm amazed that opp folded. There are like 840 chips in the pot and you bet only 120 ?!?!?! If you want to bet, bet it like you mean it!

13. JTs - personally I fold this from UTG+1

15. KQo - I fold pretty fast to an UTG shove from a player who has 10x BB unless I have a specific read that he is super LAGG

17. 96o - just put opp all in preflop, don't risk a misclick (believe me, I've done it)

19. K6s - c-bet flop for 600-650 after raising preflop

23. AKo - just shove preflop rather than raising to 1600, if you get flat called and miss the flop you're in a difficult spot.

24. AA - I don't mind this line at all, although I prefer if if you have a read that opp is very aggressive postflop.

26. JTs - I'm not overjoyed about calling with this hand but I guess it's OK provided that you don't get married to a weak draw

A 3 CO (Hero's M = 27.06; f) (between 27 and 28) - I practically never open fold an ace (any ace) heads up...

29. K3s - I would fold preflop, A/K-small is very easily dominated against the sorts of hands that opps might raise and can have bad reverse implied odds on an A/K high flop. As played I think it's good postflop.

Thanks alot for your input on the tourney. You've reinforced some of my own opinions on these hands. I've been wanting to post hands but the 10 post min for HH was a bit annoying. (I didn't wanna be the one to post gj nh lolz 10 times). So Ill be putting up some more as they come along.

I've been trying to get into the habit of 2.5xBB raising at 60/120, although it would be cheaper to start at 50/100.

Hand 1: 99 I was considering raising because the button had limped, but I figured it was early in the tournament. Play it stronger since it folded around?

Hand 2: KQo Im trying to get out of the bad habit of overvaluing KQ, noob in me wants to play it every once in awhile. I was considering a raise, but the button was left to act after me and I didn't want to get caught in that sandwich if the button raised.

I do need to pay more attention to when it folds around. I only play 2-3 tables at once, but I tend to forget to not use the pre-action buttons, like fold because I wont notice if it folds around and miss some stealing opportunities.

Hand 10: AJo damn misclick... lol pc mouse is very sensitive.

Hand 15: overvalue KQ... I didn't think and then once he flipped cards over, i realized, short-stack UTG shove.... idiot.

Hand 16: I get fearful of cbetting when caught in a steal. After the hand, I remembered I was the big stack and could have afforded the cbet.

Hand 24: AA I called because he had been raising very little all game and I figured a re-raise would make him fold, but if he hit TP, he'd go all the way with it.

I do need to work on my heads up game. It's slacking terribly. I've been getting drawn out on so much before the bubble I've been settling for 2nd/3rd.

Gonna keep working on my game, so aiming for 1st. no guts no glory.
