Default DON - calling a push?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 21.6 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds 20 Ante (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

OK I won't start posting loads of DON hands but there has just been the odd situation where Im a bit unsure. Heres another.

My thinking with the call is this can end this right now and 108s is unlikely to be dominated. Plus I have chips to fight back should I lose.

As shown I lost the hand but players since that defense didn't attack my blind as much and I did make the money but was this a fold? I think maybe it was a call at 150/300 but maybe not 100/200?

    Hero (BB) (t2865)
    UTG (t1549)
    MP (t3805)
    CO (t2150)
    Button (t1001)
    SB (t3630)

    Hero's M: 6.82

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, 8
    3 folds, Button bets t981 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero calls t781

    Flop: (t2182) 2, K, 7 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Turn: (t2182) 3 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t2182) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Total pot: t2182

Easy fold. Why do you feel the responsibility to 'end it'?

It's a double or nothing remember!

It ends we all double up!

Are you thinking it's a normal SnG?

And if it doesn't you go from coasting in to the money to having to fight for it. You should never feel the need to take responsibility for ending it (unless of course you're holding a very strong hand).

Just let the thing play out.

I don't see a need to call here. Calling is bad as it put you right into the dog-fight if you lose and that will happen 60- 70% of the time.

Fold and pound the current UTG when you are the SB.

I would have to chime in with agreance maybe I miss understood but there is alot of push hands that pre flop have this hand dominated so I agree easy fokd here

Yeah no problem - just had it in my head that if I won it was over but like u said if I lose I'm fighting it out. Got these pretty sussed now although last night I fell asleep on the bubble of a $20. Don't play after a night out!

i must agree with the need to fold here. not the best hand to make a stand. also, why arent the villain's cards visible in your post?

Like I said I'm new to DONs so I wasn't sure. As for villains cards I'm not sure. Only posted a few hands from hand converter.

By default the FTR hand converter doesn't display the villain's cards as this will likely taint responses on how to play the hand.

@everyone ... please post reasons why you believe he has played the hand badly and help him improve. Don't just assassinate him.
