Default Weird spot with AKs ($12)

Ok, this hand is just pure weirdness. I checked the flop with intention of check-raising AI. Villain is like 89/0 over 9 hands, so assume donkish tendencies. I think the river is a check-call spot, but I made a mistake and incorrectly lead on the river.

I'm struggling to make sense of the betting line here. A jack surely leads the flop for protection and only other hands that make sense to me are a complete bluff or a weaker flush.

Actually, I think this is probably a good spot to number some numbers. I'll try post my efforts a bit later, but some thoughts on the hand would be nice.

In these spots against very loose/passive players I just tend to lead out rather than check and expect them to bet for me.

As played, I guess the turn check is OK and on the river I play exactly as you do and call the shove. If he has a full house then so be it; against a player this loose I'd expect to see a bunch of hands we beat in his shoving range.

    Yeah, fair enough

Check-fold the turn if he calls the flop and we brick the turn?

I'd call, you're liable to see something really goofy here.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Depends how much he bets I guess. If it's a retarded bet like 1/4 pot or less I'd call; if it's 1/2 pot or more I suppose you have to cry and fold.
