Default Control the pot or take control of the pot? ($16 turbo)

I don't remember my opponents exact stats, maybe something like 30/20 up to this stage of the tournament. Anyway he seems fairly poor.

Do you try to control the pot size on the flop or take a more aggressive stance? As played, do you check-call the river or put in a value bet?

I quite like your line. The flop is so dry there are hardly any scare cards to come.
Is this a shove preflop, if the limper had been one of the shortstacks?

On river I lean towards betting. It's very unlikely he has a set since he just checked behind on turn. Also with 30/20 stats and a big stack, he probably would have raised most pp's pre.
Occasionally we'll lose to a backdoor flush (or even straight). But he has A2-A9 or KT-T9 much more often. So I think we'd lose too much value by not betting.

With all dead money in the pot I'd shove preflop.

As played, I also like your check on the flop because,he will usually bet with worse hands. I'd definitely bet ~700 for value on the river since he will often end up with weak hands.

I couldn't insert all the SC spades in pokertsove but this range should also be OK. We should also call any river reraise because, weaker 2 pair hands and Ax are in his range:

Maybe I am too nitty, but on the river I check-call. My reasoning: if he has me beat, he will value bet the river and I'll call and lose a little chips. Might even win if he bets with a worse two-pair. If I bet the river and he has me beat, I'll making a crying call on his raise and lose more chips. Later, on the bubble or post-bubble, villain will give more weight to my aggression since I've shown some restraint here.

Yeah, after reading this, I'm definitely too nitty.

i can't see how the river isn't a bet, i like betting $700 and possibly calling a shove.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

I think it depends on how aggressive he is. You could min/small bet the flop and hope he pushes over/re-raise if he is really aggressive (you are crushing his limp range from the button on this flop). I think ck/call is fine too. I would not check the river. I think I would again try to induce a bluff with a smallish 1/4 pot bet. Or just go straight for value and bet 900-1000. If you feel he is a poor player then I would be stacking off here. I know we try to avoid big stack confrontations as we near the bubble but if he is going to spew then better to us than someone else.
