    Default My Beginner Tournament Stats

I've been playing a few freeroll touranments lately. Today I just couldn't get any hands, ended up finishing in about 60th place (out of 240)

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 53 hands and saw flop:
    - 6 out of 7 times while in big blind (85%)
    - 1 out of 7 times while in small blind (14%)
    - 1 out of 39 times in other positions (2%)
    - a total of 8 out of 53 (15%)

What do the above stats tell you I'm doing wrong? I'm still new to poker and just working on playing good hands in good position until it becomes engrained for now..

it looks nitty, but that is fine starting out. post what hands you play from what positions. some days you can see 73o 50 times.

Real nitty. 1 out 39 times in other positions. Real low. You can open up on the button/cutoff. I play tight but you can't play this tight. You can't win chips if you don't get ifyour not in the hand.

Thanks for the advice. Tonight I tried it out, played a little bit looser (still with good hands), and used raises more effectively to push other people out. It paid off for me and I'll keep working on this further.

As far as posting hands go, I need 10 posts to put up urls/pictures so when I'm there I'm sure I'll be asking your opinions again.

Thanks for the help so far.

I thought maybe it's too early to start tournaments, but it's really making me think a lot more about the concepts I'm reading about in the articles on this website, so for that alone, it's been well worth it.
