    Default Weird bubble spot ($16)

Because of the unusual action and the fact I was multi-tabling, I missed that we had actually raised first.

That aside, do you just ship this or call behind here?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 16 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (UTG) (t5940)
    Button (t1120)
    SB (t1260)
    BB (t5180)

    Hero's M: 19.80

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, A
Hero bets t500, Button raises to t1120 (All-In), 1 fold, BB calls t920, Hero raises to t5940 (All-In)

need read/stats on BB, if he's goofy this seems good, if not calling would seem better since you would think from a competent player this is a big hand always.

That said my head exploded trying to figure out if we want him in the pot with say 89s. Clearly it's +cEV to get him out, but there must be a lot of benefit $EV wise to keeping him in.

Also worth considering BU, since his hand really should be super strong (again if he is not goofy). If he might do this with AT or KQ then shoving looks really good again. If he has a big PP/AK always like he should then I would lean more to calling.

OK, after checking HEM I realised why I pushed .... SB is 37/12 over 79 hands. I can't remember any other specific reads.

BTN seems solid and must realise he has like zero FE here, so if I was paying more attention to table dynamics, this is probably a call.

I might shove as a squeeze but I'd need a read, my guess is that the caller had a middle pair or high cards most often. A powerful hand might raise to isolate there. In fact its correct to wonder why he flatted instead of calling. Is he tricky or trappy? Has he been passive with big hands? Is he a donk calling with KJ QT? Opinions like this help me make the best choices in these situations. I always try to jot notes during games that help defign the range of hands a player uses. For example if he opens UTG with AT or lower or called raises in middle position with KJo or just calls with QQ. Notes like these really help me. I search the muck to see the hands. If he tricky , trappy or passive was I might worry a big made hand like QQ or better. I'd probably call and hope to check it down and see if we could eliminate a player.
If the call was 20% or more of your stack I'd shove.

You absolutely have to ship here unless you have a very strong read that the flat is mostly very strong hands. You are most likely ahead of BB, and it is unlikely he has AA/KK. If you lose, it is most likely because you lost BB because he can only call with the strongest hands here (since he will still cover SB by a huge margin if he folds). If BB wins the pot, that means that BTN is out. You will still have a comparable chip stack to the current SB and be down to 3 players to fight it out for 2nd.

Given the stack sizes this is a call, the short stack is all in and you have another short stack, there is no reason to get all your chips with AK vs the other big stack

totally agree with this line... call and see a flop. shoving is to risky here.

because of the presence of another shortstack, it's a call, I really hate it but it has to be a call, and only reshove with QQ+ unless you had a read that the BB is really goofy (it seems you have that read, but you said SB, not BB).
Playing big pots at small stakes.

I call and hope that BB checks it down with me as a cooperation play.

You won't be bluffing but for sure you should be value betting. If you make TPTK and the BB folds when you bet and you lose the main pot, it's really unlikely the other big stack would have beaten a hand that beats TPTK anyway (and in that case you may have paid off turn & river bets to boot!). Make nice small bets so he sticks around with lots of pairs and Ax on K high flops, then you profit in the side even if you lose the main.

I'm going to have to agree with calling on this and seeing a flop. No reason to flip a coin with the only guy who can seriously injure your stack. I know this is a little off subject but i didn't think you could use a HUD or any program like that on pokerstars? Am I missing out?
