Pretty sure I played this incorrectly.

With no other read and given the limp/call line I would assume he has Tx or a PP and is a free card paranoid guy. I would just fold the flop. That said, if you think he is FOS on flop I think it's better to call & then bet any turn when he checks, esp KQJ turns. If an ace comes I would check back then bet river. I don't think with this line he'll ever fold a PP on the flop but may happen on turn after you call.

If you're raising flop I would just get it in, even with the min raise you should call anyway if he shoves over, you're usually only a 3/1 dog and you might even have the best hand. Plus maybe he folds low PPs to a shove but peels vs this bet.

Any reads, besides you figure its a donk bet? I'd assume T9, JT, QT, KT, are within a limp/call range here for many opponents at these stakes early on. He could also be betting out with 33-88 kind of hand, figuring you only have overcards.

If you want to show some aggression, I'd either float the flop bet and then bet the turn if he checks, or raise more on the flop than the minimum (and check back later streets unless you hit). What you did seems like the worst of all choices (i.e., never making a bet he can fold to when you have nothing).

But I don't think folding the flop is a bad move.

I'm folding the flop I think, floating and then betting the turn 2nd best option. I really don't like the minraise as it's not folding anything out, you're not learning anything and you've still got the worst hand in most cases, spewy imo.
