Default TT vs UTG with weird stack size.

sorry i don't have the HH at the moment.

i was deep in the 3 rebuy. blinds 12,500/25000. i think around 100 left. i had 1.8m which i think was in the top 20 at that point. UTG has 500k left and min raises to 50k. i'm UTG+2 (MP1) with TT. UTG had HUD stats like 25/12 over 80 hands. i hadn't seen this guy do anything weird. this was the only table i was playing.

i kinda feel a little silly asking about this hand cuz a little voice inside me is sure the responses will be "raise and get it in".

i suppose i can call for set value since he does have 500k and is raising to 50k. BUT being he has only 500k... do i gamble it up with a re-raise? but then i'm really hoping he has KJ+ and AJ+ or lower PP. is 88 min-raising? if he has 750k or 1.2m it's an easy call and play a flop.

basically, his stack size made this hard to play for me. just calling felt weak, folding felt incredibly weak, with 6 players left behind me putting UTG all in seems unnecessarily risky. what am i hoping for on the flop besides a set?

    am i over thinking this?
guys he's just looking to complain about taking coolers/beats

he'll continue to be the type of poker player we all love, the one that isn't any good but thinks he is, and slowly donates to the regulars.

Call, get it in if you flop an overpair, call one street if the flop has one overcard that isn't an ace, fold if the flop has two overcards or an ace.

You aren't set-mining, you're calling because TT is an awesome hand. Honestly the word set-mining should pretty much be banned from poker forums with the games the way they are now.
