-------------------------------------------------------
And here's the review. Hands that have nothing written about them are considered standard in my book.
2s2d (before hand 1) - I feel this is a marginal position to limp with deuces. I think I often do.
8c7c (hand 1) - I guess I have implied odds to call turn, plus sometimes a 7 or an 8 will help me too.
6h6s (hand 2) - Pokerman is sitting out so I'm effectively HJ myself. I'm not sure if I could call if he wasn't sitting out, because there is a big chance he'd shove and that would ruin my odds. I bet above average on flop because there are many opponents and I bet above average on turn because the board is very wet.
AhQd (hand 3) - Villain was running something like 15/5 over a tiny sample. No information about his preflop 3-bet nor flop c-bet tendencies. I call pre because of position and pot odds. I fold on flop because I can't imagine being ahead of anything. Unless he's min-3-betting AQ, AJ or KQ which is unlikely. I wonder if my call preflop actually makes any sense, because I'm apparently folding on flop even if I make 2pair. The 3-betting range that I assign to him is pretty much dominating me.
KhJs (hand 5) - This is probably a mistake. There are four players yet to act, button has a big stack and has been playing rather loose, and my stack is not big enough to comfortably c-bet on flop.
9d8s (between 5 and 6) - I folded because I was afraid that BB might call wide here because last orbit he had lost half of his stack to me. I wanted to regain some credit and give him time to calm down. SitNGo Wizard agrees with the fold, provided that he is calling looser than 33+, A3s+, A7+, KTs+. I'm not sure if he calls THAT wide, though, so folding is probably a mistake. He was running something like 13/5, fold to steal attempt didn't have a meaningful sample size.
9d3d (hand 6) - This time it's a snapshove because blinds have gone up.
AhJh (between 7 and 8) - Opponent was running 30/7 with steal attempt = 0 so I gave him credit for a hand.
Ah6d (between 8 and 9) - Same raiser as above. This time I have to assign him a slightly wider range, but my hand is also much weaker, plus a limper is generally a bigger threat than BB with random hand.
Ah2d (hand 10) - It's been a while since I had a semi-decent stack and I have an ace on the button, so I make normal raise to see how my opponents take it. As for my sizing, I feel that 400 is too much, 350 seems too little and 375 has a risk to look too "thought out". 377 is just like 375, except that it looks donkish instead. I c-bet this dangerous-looking flop because I believe the opponent (who btw has a tendency to check-fold lot of flops) will fold a ton of better hands here. (See also: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...re-t91666.html.)
6h6c (between 10 and 11) - No need to aggressively resteal with stacks that big. Opponent hasn't been very active either.
6d6c (hand 11) - Shoving this will obviously be ok too, but with M=10 I think there's still time to first "feel out" the opponent with
normal raises. If it turns out that he's fine with being robbed, then I can get his blinds with less variance that way.
Tc7s (hand 12) - I need to steal a lot because the players on my right are aggressive regs who don't give me many free orbits. (This particular tournament they actually do, which is weird.) BB seems soft enough to let that happen.
AsTh (hand 14) - I probably have the best hand and need to bet mostly for protection. A bet with normal size would commit me, so I just shove.
KdQh (hand 15) - Opponent is an unimaginative 15/11 reg, I have data from 750 hands with him. His attempt to steal from SB is 30% and his fold to preflop 3bets is 93% (14/15), so I think a resteal is in order. I chose for a normal-sized reraise to look scarier and to
leave myself an emergency exit in case he calls and a bad flop falls. These reasons are actually quite contradictory so without stronger reads I guess shoving would have been better still.
AdQd (hand 19) - I think this is a fairly easy call. Opponent is short and possibly frustrated so his range includes quite a lot of weaker aces.
7c4c (hand 20) - Heads-up, with blinds relatively low I like to limp a lot from SB to see cheap flop with position. Of course this only works if opponent doesn't start to raise me much.
Jh9s (hand 21) - I lead, because this flop probably missed him. It's probably a mistake, because he can also say the same about me. His range is mostly two overcards and he is rarely folding them here.
9h7c (hand 22) - Same as 20.
6d5d (hand 23) - He doesn't let me limp so I start raising and folding more often.
JdTd (hand 24)- Limp with the intention to reraise. Flop bet possibly a mistake (see hand 21).
Ad4d (hand 25) - This is a marginal 3-bet because he hasn't been raising from SB too much. But folding or calling seem just too weak.
Kd2c (hand 26) - I have bet (and will bet) quite a lot of air on flop so I need to bet when I catch something to back it up and to pick up on occasional counterplay.
Ts9h (hand 27) - Limping is a mistake as he's already made clear that he doesn't let me to.
6d4d (hand 28) - Bet flop? Bet turn? He will fold a lot of hands that beat me.
7d3c (hand 29) - Obviously tilting from previous hand.
AdAs (hand 30) - He's been raising my limps so much that I limp, hoping he'd do it this time too. Bet flop because he hasn't been believing my flop bets too much lately, because he has checkraised twice this tournament, and because stacks are relatively deep so I have to start getting it in.
6d5d (between 30 and 31) - That's a raise or shove, I think.
8c3h (hand 33) - That could even be a fold since he's calling so wide.
